Halloween
Halloween is my favorite holiday. I knew when I finished Dying in Dallas and it was set in October, that a Halloween short story/novella/novel was in the works. I hope you enjoy both the novella and the holiday as much as I do.

When: All Hallows’ Eve
Costumes: Encouraged
Vampire party crashers. Lives hang in the balance. Can Laramie resist the temptation of blood, or will she feed on her guests?
Laramie Harper is throwing a Halloween shindig at The Madam two weeks after changing into a vampire. It is imperative that the party be murder-free. The success of her business and her relationship with the love of her life, Van Helsing Anderson, depend on it.
Laramie’s friends in the Cabernet Cavalry, plus some other familiar faces, reunite to dress up in costumes and drink wine. As the guests pour into The Madam, Laramie believes that the party is better than she dreamed possible. But on All Hallows’ Eve, things are never quite what they seem.
As the night unfolds, cheating spouses, family drama, and intrigue abound. When uninvited vampires crash the party, terrorizing Laramie’s guests and sparking her bloodlust, will her dreams be crushed like grapes in a wine press, or will the Cabernet Cavalry be able to save the night?
Join the Cabernet Cavalry for this fun, yet poignant, holiday novella. And if you loved Dying in Dallas, rest assured that vampires, voodoo, dogs, and wine abound in The Blood Will Tell.
