My First Book Signing Event and a sale!

by J.C. Keough Leave a Comment

Hey y’all!

I have great news. I will be holding my first book signing event this week!

Bankhead Brewing Co

The amazing Bankhead Brewing Co. has been kind enough to let me set up on their enclosed patio to sell and sign books. They do great food and drinks. In addition to the very tasty beer they brew their own selves, they have a full bar and do mean mixed drinks. I love their beer, and martinis, and margaritas, and wine, and . . . well, you get the picture.

Wednesday, January 27th, 2021 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm

Come out and join me on Wednesday, January 27th, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. I will have paperback copies of Dying in Dallas and The Blood Will Tell on sale at the event. If you already have a copy, then bring it with you and I’ll sign it.

“But what if I can’t make the event?”

Never fear, I’m so excited about my first ever event, that I am reducing the Amazon prices, from now through Wednesday, to match the prices at the event. Not to leave Kindle readers out, the e-book prices have also been reduced.

The Laramie Harper Chronicles

The Laramie Harper Chronicles follow the adventures of Laramie Harper as she tries to keep her dog-friendly wine bar, The Whine Barrel, in business, solves murders, and searches for a century-old relic that could destroy humanity. All the while, Laramie and her dog, Bodacious, are knee-deep in voodoo, vampires, vampire hunters, and werewolves.

Click on the title to be taken to your Amazon store to get the sale price. Remember, this offer is only good through Wednesday night, so don’t wait.

NaNoWriMo November

by J.C. Keough Leave a Comment

November is National Novel Writing Month, or NaNoWriMo. If you’ve ever thought “what if”, then this is your month to make that novel happen.

The Writing Bug

Four years ago, on November 1st, I started writing Dying in Dallas. The main thing I’ve discovered since I published it in August, is that practically everyone wants to write a book. Whether it be a novel, a collection of short stories, or a children’s book, many people dream of creating something with words.

I had been one of those people for at least twenty years. In early 2016 I retired early from a career that spanned two and a half decades, and my husband and I moved from the USA to Ireland. But then I found myself asking, what now?
