Laramie Harper Chronicles

The Blood Will Tell Cover Reveal

by J.C. Keough Leave a Comment

You’re Invited!

What: Laramie Harper’s 1st Annual Halloween Party—and possibly her last.

Where: The Madam

When: All Hallows’ Eve

Costumes: Encouraged

It’s cover reveal day for book 1.5, The Blood Will Tell, in The Laramie Harper Chronicles.

Why 1.5? Because The Laramie Harper Chronicles will follow a full book, novella, full book, etc, release schedule. The full-length books will include murder mysteries and, starting with book two, lots of travel. They will focus on the search for the True Cross. The novellas will be shorter books that are holiday or event themed, (think Fourth of July and maybe . . . a wedding 👰 ) and will move Laramie’s personal story along. Both the novels and novellas will include vampires, voodoo, dogs, and wine barrels full of laughs.

The Blood Will Tell

Laramie Harper is throwing a Halloween shindig at The Madam two weeks after the Cabernet Cavalry was unable to stop her change into a vampire. She wants to prove to her neighbors that The Madam is safe and to show Van that she can nail this vampire thing.

The Cabernet Cavalry reunites for the night to dress up in costumes and drink wine. The party is going better than she ever dreamed possible—until vampires crash the event and attack her guests. Her friends must leap into action and work together as a team to ensure everyone survives the night.

Just in case you haven’t read book one in the series, Dying in Dallas, I’ve discounted the ebook to $1.99 through the end of October. Buy yours here:

Watch for The Blood Will Tell to release near the end of October—just in time for a Halloween read.

Dying in Dallas by J.C. Keough

An Early Launch

Dying in Dallas launched on July 28th, two days ahead of my planned date. As someone who is perpetually late and a procrastinator, this was a monumental accomplishment.

About Dying in Dallas

There is a blurb about the book here, but the short version is that Laramie Harper’s thirtieth birthday weekend takes a terrible turn because of vampires, werewolves, and the search for a centuries-old relic. The story is filled with voodoo, wine, dogs, and more than a few sexy men.

Where to Get Your Copy
